The highlight of the show

The Boatyard

The biggest print of OFFALS & BONES and the centrepiece of the show. mcbess streamed the final drawing sessions in May 2026 and kept tinkering with it until the show. Six details to start with – the whole thing hangs on the wall in Berlin.

Since 2010

16 years of the Dudes

We've been getting away with it since 2010. OFFALS & BONES is our birthday party – new work on the walls plus pieces from the archive, and a new collectible toy that glows in the dark.

  • All designed by mcbess
  • Black & white – always
  • Prints screen printed on Fedrigoni paper

01The idea

An animation becomes 480 artworks.

This animation consists of 480 individually illustrated frames. Each frame is a unique artwork and is available as a one-off print. No two are the same.

  • 480 frames

    Individually illustrated

  • One of one

    Each frame exists only once

  • A complete animation

All 480 frames together create the animation

Behind the Art

How it was made

Line by line on the screen: mcbess inking The Boatyard – the drawing that became the 100 × 70 cm screen print at the heart of the show – and the 480 hand-drawn frames behind Daisies.

“Tinkering with the boatyard, will keep doing so until the show.”

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

mcbess Exhibition, London – Yeti Cooler and Orion Premium Japanese Lager Prize Draw

1. Promoter. The promoter is The Dudes London Ltd, contactable at matt@dudes-factory.com ("the Promoter"). The prize is kindly supplied with the support of Orion Premium Japanese Lager.

2. Eligibility. The draw is open to attendees of the mcbess exhibition at Art Practice Gallery, 148–150 Curtain Rd, London EC2A 3AT on 19 November 2026 who are aged 18 or over. Because the prize contains alcohol, the winner must show valid photo ID proving they are 18+ before receiving the prize. Employees of the Promoter and of Orion, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the draw are not eligible.

3. How to enter. Purchase a print at the exhibition on 19 November 2026. Each print purchased gives one entry. At the point of sale, entrants will be asked for their name and a phone number or email address so they can be contacted if they win. Prints are sold at their normal price and no additional charge is made for entry. If a print purchase is cancelled or refunded, the associated entry is void.

4. Closing time. Entries close at 22:00 on 19 November 2026. Purchases made after this time will not be entered.

5. The draw. One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries at approximately 22:00 on 19 November 2026, after entries close, at the exhibition, in the presence of members of staff of The Dudes London Ltd. The Promoter's decision is final.

6. The prize. One Yeti cooler filled with 330ml cans of Orion Premium Japanese Lager (the number of cans depends on the cooler's capacity). The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Claiming the prize. If the winner is present when the draw takes place, they may take the prize away on the night once their ID has been checked. If the winner is not present, the Promoter will contact them using the details provided at purchase within 48 hours of the draw. The winner must arrange to collect the prize from The Premises Studios, 205–209 Hackney Rd, London E2 8JL within 14 days of being contacted and bring valid photo ID. If the winner cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, or does not collect the prize within that period, the Promoter may draw an alternative winner. The winner is responsible for transporting the prize; delivery is not included.

8. Responsible drinking. The Promoter may withhold the prize, or the alcoholic part of it until a later collection, from a winner who appears to be intoxicated. Please drink responsibly.

9. Publicity. The winner's first name and the outcome of the draw may be announced at the event and shared on the Promoter's and Orion's channels. Any further participation in publicity is voluntary.

10. Personal data. Contact details collected for entry will be used only to run this draw and contact the winner, in line with the Promoter's privacy policy at https://dudes-factory.com/pages/privacy-declaration (questions to matt@dudes-factory.com), and will be deleted within 30 days of the prize being claimed.

11. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from entry into the draw or from acceptance or use of the prize. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes. The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the draw if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

13. Third parties. Yeti is not a sponsor of, or otherwise associated with, this draw.

14. General. By entering, entrants agree to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

All dates are planned and subject to change. The show travels at the same level in every city: if a print sells out on the road, it is replaced with a new print or a new idea.
