mcbaise

mcbaise lives between London and Auribeau sur siagne and has been described as “probably the best thing to ever come out of Cannes”. He spends most of his time eating pan bagna on the beach, during Christmas he feels the need to record soundtrack to old sexy movies, with big old dicks. His style is a kind of smooth yachty rock.

Muthi is a collaboration between Matt Christensen and mcbess.
Drawing influence from Christensen's background growing up in Africa, nocturnal exploits around the world and various misadventures, Muthi resides in the world of poppy psychedelia, with just a hint of paranoia to keep things spicy.

Uguito Cossala, son of a mariachi, was a hopeless romantic until heartbreak gave birth to his alter ego: 1000 GUAPO.

A Guadalajara star, he debuted in Paris in 2022 with his first EP on Dirty Melody Records. Love struck again, and he never left. Now in his Parisian studio, he crafts melancholic techno-mariachi.

Formed in 2011, Dead Pirates formed in 2011 as a  vehicle for the rockier side of mcbess' tracks. Their double LP Highmare brought the brand a cult audience, particularly off the back of the video for the track UGO, made by mcbess. Keep an eye out for more from Dead Pirates, coming soon.

Jim Stoten lives and works in Hastings. He draws all the time, and when he is not drawing he is doing something else. 

Formed in 2016, CHICHIRAMA is a psychedelic rock band originally from Paris. William Moreau (vox/guitar) and Quentin Sarda (bass) met in 2012 in Londres and start a first project: AOU. Being back in Paris with 2 EP (with one on Seth Troxler’s Label – Soft Touch Records), the band find shelter in Saint-Denis with an artistic residency at 6B. During this period, Paul Anton (guitar/synth) and Manu Chevalier (drums) join the project.

Heavy Menthol is a London-based alternative metal, punk, and stoner rock three-piece band featuring members Carl Addy (vocals/guitar), mcbess (guitar/vocals), and Matt Christensen (drums/vocals).

Kamggarn formed in the summer of 2016 in London, England.
With a common thrill for 70’s prog and modern psychedelic music, they got together at 123 studios in Peckham with Brett Shaw to record their first EP titled “Pursuit of Sounds”. Days after recording, Kamggarn quickly grabbed the attention of Dirty Melody Records which led to a vinyl release in March 2017 with a successful sold out EP release show at the London Fields Brewery.

Pâle Regard’s music is not gay. Pâle Regard’s music is not sad. Pâle Regard’s music is melancholic. The band knits a subtle mix of low-fi - smooth soundscapes with languorous voices and synths’ layers which gives it its genuine sound’s blueprint.

Dramaboy is a purveyor of modern electronic music filled with nostalgic memories. The producer and multi-instrumentalist became active early 2018 on Dirty Melody Records. His music layers ambient pads, dreamy melodies, hero bass-lines with soulful boogie, contemporary R&B, City Pop and Vaporwave analogue rhythms.

For the first 15 years, he only expressed himself musically as the drummer of bands such as McBaise or the Dead Pirates.

Following his first career success, he regained time control to start his solo music project at 36. He confronted teenage-like fears with added age-consciousness while enjoying the thrill of starting anew. Dramaboy seeks to defy the conventional narrative, proving that it's never too late for a second life. In an era where lifespans extend, Dramaboy's music is a testament to the possibility of reinvention, the pursuit of passion and the limitless potential of a second act.
