The 3rd McBaise album TUBES sold out before even reaching us. The cover Masterpiece is by close friend and intensely talented artist Ugo Gattoni.
Each record is pressed on 2-colour marbled vinyl and is 100% unique. Because the 500 edition package sold out quickly, we are already considering producing a new batch in 2022. Meanwhile, you can pass the time by watching the two music videos accompanying this sweet summer release.

Muthi's debut album VISIONS
It is out now and available on vinyl! Seasick guitars are submerged under layers of chorus, spiked with vintage synths and driven by an understated but purposeful rhythm section. With artwork by friend and shimmering champion Alan Berry Rhys, this is a premium limited edition package - each record is pressed on 4-colour vinyl and is unique.
Formed as a musical collaboration between songwriters Matt Christensen and Mcbess (Mcbaise, Dead Pirates), Muthi adds another project to the growing stable at Dirty Melody Records - and aims to build on the cult following the label enjoys, with several of their music videos now boasting millions of views on YouTube and attracting an army of devoted followers.

“We formed last year and wrote the album over 3 months of a hot locked-down summer, while we sat at home sweating and trying to figure out what life was going to look like as a global pandemic pissed in everyone’s chips.” says Christensen.

“We had a few Zoom drinks instead of our usual thing of going to the pub” adds Mcbess, who plays bass and occasional keys on the album. “This was really depressing. So we decided to try and write some music to see what would happen. Along with some pointless stuff I bought on the internet, some interesting haircuts and a loss of social skills, MUTHI is another result of this period.”
Despite the context - or maybe because of it - the tracks are laid back psych-pop, drawing influence from Christensen’s background growing up in South Africa, nocturnal exploits around the world and some risqué misadventures; viewed through a rose-tinted and chemically enhanced memory filter.

KAMGGARN by KAMGGARN
The new self-titled album from London’s heavy dream-pop outfit featuring members of The Gun Club, Mcbaise and Swedish Death Candy, Kamggarn’s second album is a modern twist on 90’s alt-rock and shoegaze music.
Drowned in scorching fuzzy guitars and surreal, dreamy vocals with a psychedelic inclination reminiscent of Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine, Kamggarn’s second album is a sonic journey from start to finish.
