We're pleased to announce the arrival in stores of our latest collection. Building on Dudes traditions, we've got full ranges in our Misadventures, Loose Cannons, Underworlds, Unathletics & Filthy Pleasures categories. It's a full stack of new designs and classics for Spring 25!
NEW PRODUCTION PROCESSES
Beginning with our 2024 collections, we began producing all our t-shirts and jerseys in India. Our production team has a close working relationship with the team there, who have been specifically set up to support organic cotton farming with tribal smallholder farms. All the cotton those Dudes produce is fair trade certified non-GMO organic seed cotton, which means it's produced in a way that ensures social, economic and environmental sustainability.
So every t-shirt, hoodie or sweater that comes from the Dudes might say 'I'm high' or 'stay green' or whatever, but it's also constructed to the highest standard and supremely comfortable to wear. Not only that, it's also made with organic raw materials and in a way that ensures that our farmers get a fair price for their product.
Our Hawaiians are now made in Greece and Macedonia, using fabrics and inks which comply with the Global Organic Textile Standard. We use Lyocell for our Hawaiians, a wood fiber-based textile which is super soft and breathable, ideal for the warmer months. Our team there is a family business, who have been making high quality textiles for almost a century, supplying some of the fashion world's most trusted brands - now including The Dudes.
Then our Heavy Woven Twill garments - that's our overshirts, trousers, jackets etc... these are made in Spain, with all fabrics spun, woven, dyed and processed in Europe. These heavier garments take inspiration from durable workwear and are designed to last, with clean, functional designs with modern cuts making these items that will be in your rotation for many seasons to come.
COMING SOON
We're working on integrating NFC (near field communication) chips into all our clothing, which will mean that you'll be able to trace every stage of the supply chain. From the fields where the raw materials for your garment were grown right up to the store you bought it from, you'll be able to track the journey your garment took to you.
